CORONAVIRUS — END
POINT
211. Mrs L.M. HARVEY to the Premier:
What is the most likely end point
for the coronavirus health and economic crisis for Western Australia? Are we
trying to eradicate the coronavirus in the next six months or is the most
likely scenario that the economy will not fully recover until after a vaccine
is developed over the next 12 to 18 months?

I thank the Leader of the
Opposition for the question. Unfortunately, I do not have a crystal ball and I do
not have an easy answer to the questions she poses; I suspect neither does any
Premier, the Prime Minister or anyone in any position
around the world. There is no clear answer to those questions. We are doing our
best to deal with the situation we find ourselves in.
