ALBANY HIGHWAY — PASSING LANES
699. Hon DARREN WEST to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
(1) How much
money is currently allocated in the budget for passing lanes on Albany Highway
in each of the financial years 2013–14, 2014–15, 2015–16
and 2016–17?
(2) How many
passing lanes will be constructed in each of these financial years using this
money, and what are their locations?
(3) Are all these passing lanes
funded under the safer roads and bridges program?
(4) If no to (3), to what program is
the funding allocated?

question.
(1) An amount
of $2.1 million has been allocated in 2013–14 under the safer roads and
bridges program. Funds from this program are approved to individual projects on
an annual basis.
(2)–(3) Please refer to (1). Cranbrook southbound is
being constructed in 2013–14.
(4) Not applicable.
