With regard to the Department of Industry and Resources and the Office of Major Projects, I ask - (1) Can the minister describe whether the OMP has been retained as a distinct entity within DOIR, and the rationale behind any restructuring of these agencies since 2001? (2) If yes to (1), will the minister explain the relationship between DOIR and OMP, specifically - (a) OMP’s mandate, charter or mission statement; (b) funding provision for OMP’s day-to-day operations; (c) funding provisions for project facilitation and development; (d) outcomes, outputs and performance indicators specific to OMP; and (e) staffing levels. (3) Will the minister describe the internal structure of OMP, including key officers and business units? (4) If any or all of the above information is publicly available, will the minister indicate where this information can be found? Hon KEN TRAVERS
