Published Data for period 98/99: GEH South of Abernethy Road 48 726 GEH West of Tonkin Highway 44 236 * Count 12 November 2001: GEH South of Abernethy Road 54 365 GEH West of Tonkin Highway 46 010 * Count 4 March 2003: GEH South of Abernethy Road 53 868 GEH West of Tonkin Highway 50 330 * Counts are collected usually over a few weekdays, which produces an Average Weekday count over the period of collection. These short term counts are adjusted once seasonal factors are available and this results in an Annual Average Weekday Traffic (AAWT) figure for each count site collected in each year. The supplied figures for 2001 to 2003 have not been seasonally adjusted as the annual factors are not expected to be available until early in the new year. Further auditing of the data then occurs to ensure that the resulting data is consistent with all available related information.

The sections of road requested by the Member cover a number of locations which vary in their traffic volume. Representative locations have therefore been selected to give the best indication of volumes in the nominated section. Very few locations are counted on an annual basis. Most locations have at most a once every two year cycle. Again locations have been selected to try to supply historic information over the requested time frame.
