I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) There is a
proposed relocation of Inner City Community Mental Health and Subiaco Adult
Community Mental Health services to one location in West Perth. Lease
negotiations have commenced with the preferred property, which is readily
available by public transport and private vehicle transport.
(2) (a) The
two clinics operate as one service, the city community mental health service,
but have historically been located at two sites. A combined location as a
single city catchment service is a key component in improving the integration
of mental health services. The proposed site will allow for a facility that is
physically more fit-for-purpose than the two existing sites.
(b) No.
(3) The Inner
City Community Mental Health building is owned by LandCorp and the Subiaco
Adult Community Mental Health building is owned by WA Health.
