PUBLIC SECTOR — WORKING FROM HOME POLICIES
968. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I refer to the practice of working
from home across the public sector.
(1) Does the Public Sector Commission or the Department
of Premier and Cabinet apply a consistent policy for managing working
from home across the public sector, or are there differences in policy and
management on an agency-by-agency basis?
(2) Is the
Premier aware of the quantum or proportion of public sector employees who
regularly work from home on a daily basis?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the
member for some notice of the question.
(1) Working from
home provisions are included in some industrial agreements. Agency policies are
required to be consistent with these agreements.
(2) Day-to-day staffing
arrangements are the responsibility of respective public sector CEOs.
