DEPARTMENT
FOR CHILD PROTECTION AND FAMILY SUPPORT — ACCOMMODATION AND CARE
SERVICES UNIT
134. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the Minister
for Child Protection:
I ask this question on behalf of Hon Stephen Dawson, who is away on urgent
parliamentary business. I refer to the accommodation and care services
unit within the Department for Child Protection and Family Support.
(1) How many staff does this unit
currently have and where are they located?
(2) What was the unit's
budget for 2013–14 and 2014–15?
(3) Have any redundancies been made
at the unit in the last 12 months?
(4) If yes to (3), how many
positions were made redundant and what were those positions?
(5) Will the minister give a commitment
not to privatise or outsource any of the unit's existing services?
The PRESIDENT : This is a new trend that I do not want to
catch on. Hon Stephen Dawson has had two questions asked today and he is not
even in this place!
