MALIMUP BEACH - ACCESS
I ask this question on behalf of Hon Robyn McSweeney, who has been called away on urgent parliamentary business. I refer to Malimup Springs in the D’Entrecasteaux National Park and the continuing access to Malimup Beach for fishing and recreation. (1) Will the minister guarantee access to Malimup Beach now that BushBank, a consortium of the World Wildlife Fund Australia, the Conservation Commission and the National Trust of Australia, has purchased Malimup Springs? (2) Is there only one access road into the beach, which is past Malimup Springs; and is this access on Malimup Springs land? (3) If yes, how will the conservation covenant that will be placed on that land affect the access route? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH
