FINAL-YEAR student TEACHERs - COUNTRY PLACEMENT OFFERS
I refer the minister to his media release of 23 June 2007, which stated in part that, “Final year teaching students will this week receive offers to work in country and regional schools - six months earlier than usual - as part of a special recruitment package announced by the Carpenter Government today.” How many final-year students have accepted the government’s offer to work in country and regional schools?
