JAMES
LARSSON AND JAKE SMITH — RESIGNATION PAYOUTS
479. Mr R.H. COOK to the Deputy Premier:
I have a supplementary question. Can
the Deputy Premier state clearly for the house: why were they paid more than
they were entitled to?

AnswerView source ↗

I am not aware of any person being
paid more than they are entitled to. The opposition failed to make its case
that any overpayment occurred. As I recall, a couple of members on the other
side received payouts from the other side when it was in government. Sharryn Jackson might have been one. I have nothing further
to add. I am not aware of any overpayment.
