I refer to the destruction and devastation in mid-February of two Flooded Gum trees near the intersection of Blackadder Creek and Morrison road, a registered Aboriginal Heritage site, and ask -
(1) Did the developer consult with the Department of Indigenous Affairs prior to cutting branches off one of these trees and destroying the other?
(2) If yes to (1), why were the local indigenous community members not consulted about the tree lopping?
(3) If no to (1), what action will the Department take against the developer for failing to follow the required processes when working at Aboriginal heritage sites?
