(1) I refer to the Minister's announcement on 23 August 2018 that the McGowan Government is progressing legislative reform of century old water laws, and ask: (a) What is the current status/progress of the legislative reform; and (b) Will the Minister be engaging in community/industry consultation in respect to the reforms: (i) If yes, what has been the nature of that consultation so far and what is planned for the future; (ii) If not, why not; and (iii) Or will the Minister simply be relying on the 2013 submissions that appear on the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation website as sufficient consultation? (2) When does the Minister intend to complete the water management reforms described in August last year?
