(a-b) Please refer to my answer to Legislative Assembly questions on notice 2467 and 3089. As previously advised the Department of Local Government has initiated an Authorised Inquiry into the City of Melville.
The Department established this Inquiry due to a number of concerns based on attendance and behaviour at council meetings, complaints, working with City staff and meetings with ratepayers.
On completion of the Inquiry a report will be presented and tabled in Parliament. Should the Member require a briefing at that time on the Inquiry’s findings, I would be happy to arrange.
