I thank the Leader of the
Opposition for some notice of the question. The following answer has been
provided by the Minister for Transport.
(1) At the time the contract was
first signed, practical completion for all works was 30 September 2020.
(2) There were drainage and median
barrier works, including retaining structures.
(3) The cost is $6.7 million.
(4) It is
anticipated that these works will be completed by mid-July 2020, although the
staged opening of new northbound freeway lanes is expected to be completed by
April 2020.
