LESCHENAULT ESTUARY GROYNE
292. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
minister representing the Minister for Environment:
(1) Is the
Minister for Environment aware of any threats of flooding or erosion or other
damage risks associated with the extent of damage to the groyne that has been
washed away near the convergence of Collie, Brunswick and Preston Rivers in the
Leschenault Estuary?
(2) Is
restoration work required to restore the groyne and the area around The Cut
before winter to prevent flooding and further damage?

raised by the member for Bunbury. The Minister for Transport, through the
Department of Transport, is the minister responsible for this issue.
