With regard to the Punmu Aboriginal Community, I ask —
(1) How many trained nursing staff are stationed at Punmu Aboriginal Community?
(2) Does the Minister consider this staffing level to be adequate to the community's needs?
(3) If no to (1), what is the Minister doing to address the shortfall?
(4) Have there been any investigations into the function, adequacy and safety of the health clinic building and staff housing?
(5) If yes to (4), what was the outcome and will the Minister table any reports?
(6) If no to (4), why not?
(7) Is the Minister aware that the health clinic and nursing staff housing has been in urgent need of repair for several years and yet no work has been carried out?
(8) If no to (7), why not?
(9) If yes to (7), will the Minister table all relevant correspondence?

(1) The Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is Commonwealth funded and coordinates the delivery of nursing services at the Punmu Clinic. The WA Country Health Services does not hold information on the number of nurses currently stationed at Pumnu.

(4) The health clinic building and staff housing are owned by the Commonwealth. The buildings are situated on Crown Reserve 34607 which forms part of the Aboriginal Lands Trust, administered through the Department of Indigenous Affairs.
