(2) In accordance with sections 7(2)(a) and 7(4) of the Chiropractors Act 1964, the Chairperson of the Board must be a legal practitioner, nominated by the Attorney General. Nominations have been sought from the Attorney General. A Chairperson will be appointed when a nomination is received. At a meeting of the Board, in the absence of the Chairperson, the members present can elect one of their number to preside as Chairperson.

(1) The Board currently consists of 4 members and their deputies. The term of the Chairperson of the Board expired on 9 March 2001.
