and twenty-six individuals are supported in Karratha and the surrounding
communities; 39 individuals are supported in Newman and the surrounding
communities; 90 individuals are supported in South Hedland and the surrounding
communities; and 16 individuals are supported in Tom Price and the surrounding
communities.
(2) They are
Empowering People in Communities Inc and Lifestyle
Solutions Australia.
(3) As at 30 June
2016, 63 individuals in the Pilbara were in receipt of Disability Services
Commission individualised funding with supports provided through a disability
sector organisation; 26 individuals are currently in receipt of individualised
self-managed funding through local coordination. Within this time frame,
however, it is not possible to break this into local communities or towns.
