(a) There have been 2,233 stalking offences categorised as harassment/miscellaneous offences reported in the last five financial years (2020-21 to 2024-25).
(b)
(i-iii) The Western Australia Police Force cannot provide an answer to the outcome of prosecutions. The number of the above offences where charges have been laid cannot be determined, as reported offences and charges are recorded in separate applications. As a proxy, the number of charges for stalking offences created in the Prosecution application in the last five financial years (2020-21 to 2024-25) can be provided – that number is 1,157.
