(1) Yes. The provision of a boating facility at West Roebuck Bay in Broome is currently being investigated by the Department of Transport.
(a) A report about the boating facility is being finalised and will be released for public information and comment following targeted stakeholder review.
(i) The report is planned to be released during 2010.
(b) Not applicable.
(2) As it is planned that construction of the boating facility will commence within the next two years, the substantial cost of interim measures is not considered warranted.
