(1) What Western Australia statutes, if any, allow for the confiscation of a motor vehicle in the event that its owner/driver is convicted of serious traffic offences?
(2) Has the Government studied the issue to determine the deterrent effect of confiscation for such offences as -
(a) reckless driving;
(b) dangerous driving;
(c) driving while under suspension; and
(d) driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol?
(3) Is vehicle confiscation legislation being considered and if so, for what offences?
