(7) Volunteer Marine Rescue Service Groups' (MVSRG) funding is provided retrospectively in the form of reimbursement for actual operational costs. The Fremantle Volunteer Sea Rescue Group have not completed a full year of operations as a Department of Fire and Emergency Service's gazetted group so there is insufficient empirical data of operating costs to provide firm figures for the forward estimates. $100,000 has been allocated for planning purposes.
(8)(a) The Government grant to the MVSRG is provided as a lump sum. The internal disbursement of the grant funds by MVSRG below is based on information
provided to DFES by them.
