representing the Minister for Health:
Regarding the minister's
answer to my question on the Department of Health's crackdown on the

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided by the
Minister for Health.
There are currently 14 cases at
various stages of progression. As these matters are before the courts, further
information cannot be provided at this time. Retailers that breach the act may
not be prosecuted but may still be subject to penalties, including fines, loss
and destruction of seized property and/or removal of tobacco licence.
