I refer to Mining Lease 26/383 and the Notice if Intention to clear land on M26/383 for power-line maintenance and Access Road dated June 13 1996 signed by Brett Anderson- KCGM Land Administration Officer -
(1) Can the Minister explain the reasons why Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd was required to submit a notice of intention to clear land on M26/383 for power-line maintenance and an access road which was approved in writing by the Department of Minerals and Energy?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
