The WA government is hesitant to commit new funding for disability services accommodation support until the Commonwealth government offers additional funding beyond the existing business plan. The state government is waiting for the federal government to make the first move.

DISABILITY SERVICES, ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT
Will the State Government match with new money, any new money that the Commonwealth contributes? I am referring to money outside the business plan. Ms McHALE

Unfortunately, the federal Government has not indicated that it will put any money on the table. When the federal Government puts money on the table we will tell the federal Government what this State is prepared to contribute. I asked the federal minister that question. We shall wait and see what happens at our next meeting. Ms Hodson-Thomas interjected. Ms McHALE: That is not the answer. We must first get the federal Government - I again acknowledge the work of the opposition spokesperson for disability services - to accept that it must put more money on the table.
