The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development advises that 26 sharks were acoustically tagged in 2017, including 15 white sharks and 2 tiger sharks. The other 9 sharks were thickskin whalers.
So far in 2018, 11 white sharks and one tiger shark have been acoustically tagged.
