relation to the proposed stadium footbridge.
(1) Has the
contractor completed design documentation so that procurement details can be
finalised; and, if so —
(a) will tenders for fabrication
of structural elements be advertised; and, if so, when; and
(b) if no to
(a), why not, given the ministerXXX ###XXXs commitment
in his answer to question without notice 823?
(2) If design documentation has not been completed —
(a) when is it expected to be
completed; and
(b) when are tenders for
fabrication expected to be advertised?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) No. Design documentation has not been completed.
(a) The
contractor has requested quotes from 15 steel fabricators. Approximately half
of these fabricators are Australian businesses, including several from Western
Australia. The contractor will finalise a fabrication order once the final
design has been confirmed.
(b) See (a).
