(1) The current total level of licensed groundwater extraction from the Yarragadee aquifers is: Perth North Yarragadee: 89,119,520 kl per annum Perth South Yarragadee: 21,500 kl per annum South West Yarragadee: 67,081,780 kl per annum TOTAL 156,222,530 kl per annum This data is current to 1200hrs, 11 September 2003. (2) Attachment 1 is a list of the licence holders and amount for each licence. In interpreting this data, it is important that the Honourable Member notes that duplicate licence numbers for the same licensee who has multiple properties have been deleted. This action was required in order to ensure that the allocations presented in Question (1) have not double counted allocation limits. See tabled paper. I request that the Honourable Member notes the information heading the table that: Section 5C licences listed on this register include [only] the following: (1) Licences that are in force because the licence is current. (2) Expired licences that are in force under subclause 22(5) of schedule 1 of the Act as a valid application for its renewal is under consideration by the Commission. (3) Expired licences for which the Commission is seeking the intention of the licence holder. The Commission may issue replacement licences for these.
