(a) Yes. New systems are being developed to further enhance the referral and actioning of smoky vehicles to the WA Police Service. This will form part of the review of the Smoky Vehicle Reporting Program to be completed by the end of 2003.
(b) It is expected that the above system will have a reporting feedback loop to record the number of Police Service work orders issued.
