With reference to industrial development in the Dampier Archipelago and the transcript of proceedings of the National Native Title Tribunal Future Act Unit, before Hon CJ Sumner, Deputy President, at 9.37am on Friday 8 November 2002, and I ask -
(1) Can the minister identify if there is any current interest being shown in establishing industry or infrastructure through or on West Intercourse Island (WI)?
(2) If yes to (1), can the Minister advise how many industries are showing an interest in establishing or in developing infrastructure on WI?
(3) If yes to (2), can the Minister name these companies?
