I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. The following information
has been provided to me by the Minister for Housing and Works.
(1)–(4) As at
30 April 2025, there were 603 public housing properties in the City of
Busselton. There are currently 15 vacant properties, with 15 returning. One
property has been vacant since December 2022. The property is part of a duplex
that requires full refurbishment but works could not be commenced until the
adjoining property was also vacated.
(5) From 1 July 2017 to 30 April 2025, nine social
housing dwellings have been added in the City of Busselton. In addition, the Cook
Labor government is working with Housing Choices Western Australia to deliver
an additional 16 social and 14 affordable houses at the Brown Street
development in Busselton.
