(1) For each of the following secondary schools, how many teachers are teaching only one subject area in 2014 and in which subject area are they teaching: (a) North Albany Senior High Scool; (b) Albany Senior High School; (c) Denmark Senior High School; (d) Manjimup Senior High School; (e) Margaret River Senior High School; (f) Busselton Senior High School; (g) Cape Naturaliste College; (h) Australind Senior High School; (i) Bunbury Senior High School; (j) Manea Senior College; (k) Newton Moore Senior High School; (l) Collie Senior High School; (m) Dalyellup College; (n) Eaton Community College; (o) Harvey Senior High School; (p) Pinjarra Senior High School; (q) Halls Head Community College; (r) Coodanup Community College; and (s) John Tonkin College? (2) For each of the secondary schools in (1), how many teachers are teaching in two subject areas and in which subject areas are they teaching? (3) For each of the secondary schools in (1), how many teachers are teaching in more than two subject areas and in which areas are they teaching? (4) Has every teacher at the secondary schools in (1), teaching English and Literature, Health and Physical Education, Languages other than English (LOTE), Mathematics, Science, Society and Environment, Technology and Enterprise and the Arts completed the tertiary educational requirements specified by the Department for Education for secondary teachers (i.e. either a four year Bachelor of Education majoring in the subject or, in which the subject is integrated or minimum of a three year bachelor degree related to the subject followed by a one year Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary))? (5) If no to (4), at which schools and in which subjects are students being taught by teachers whose training does not include these tertiary qualifications?

(4) Every teacher employed by the Department of Education is required to be registered with the Teacher Registration Board and therefore meets the necessary tertiary qualification to teach in a secondary school.
There is no additional separate qualification required by secondary teachers as distinct from primary teachers. However, many teachers have a major and minor specialisation that may relate to a secondary subject area.
(5) Not applicable.
