the ongoing anti-social behaviour at the Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre
precinct, and ask: (a) Has the Cockburn Central Police Station needed to draw
resources from other police stations in order to increase its patrols at the
shopping centre precinct; (b) If yes, what stations will officers be drawn from; (c) How many times has the Minister received a briefing,
written or verbal, on the recent incidents at the Cockburn Gateway Shopping
Centre precinct; (d) Has WA Police concluded its investigations into its
response time to the incident on 1 April 2019; (e) Has the Minister received a written briefing from
WA Police on its investigations into their response times on 1 April 2019; and (f) If yes, will the Minister table this briefing?

The Western Australia Police Force advise:
(a)        No. Officers from Cockburn Police, the Regional Operations Group and the Mounted Section patrolled the area.
(b)        N/A.
(c)        Updates were provided as necessary.
(d)-(f)  No formal investigation was conducted into the response time. Policing units attended to ensure public safety, the first of which arrived within 10 minutes of the initial report to Police. For each incident reported to Police, resources were dispatched with the appropriate priority.
