GNANGARA MOUND AQUIFER
My supplementary questions is: will the minister’s new strategy to which he referred include the writing off of existing wetlands in the northern suburbs as the environment eventually loses out to the Water Corporation’s drawdown? Dr G.G. JACOBS

AnswerView source ↗

I have given the member for Cockburn specific figures on the drawdown of the Gnangara mound. Members on this side of the house believe it is very important to take seriously, and in detail, any issues that reduce the sustainability of our important resource. We will manage it, and we will manage it responsibly.
