I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question and I am happy to provide the response on behalf of the Minister for the Environment. The appeals convenor has, in consultation with the office of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, had a number of discussions and site meetings with the Higginsons in an attempt to develop a satisfactory outcome in respect of their appeal. It is understood that the office of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure recently offered to meet again with Mr and Mrs Higginson to discuss their situation, and is currently awaiting a reply with respect to this offer. Finalisation of the determination of their appeal is currently on hold pending the outcome of these further discussions.
