(1) I refer to the land known as George Burnett Park in Manning Road, Manning, and ask what area of land comprises the public park?
(2) Is all the land vested in the City of South Perth?
(3) If so, under what terms and conditions?
(4) Does the City have the exclusive rights to decide how the land is used, or does the State, via the Planning Commission, have input?
(5) Is it correct that the Lady Gowrie Centre has had discussions with the Ministry of Housing with a view to the Gowrie Centre surrendering its current, facilities in a possible exchange for land/facilities on the George Burnett Park?

(2) Yes. (3) To be utilised for the designated purpose of 'Recreation' only, with power to lease for periods of up to 21 years, subject to the consent of the Minister for Lands. (4) The City may only use the land in accordance with the purpose and Management Order of the Crown Reserve and any development requires the approval of the Western Australian Planning Commission. (5) This should be referred to the Minister for Housing and Works.
