161. Mr M. McGOWAN to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. Can the Premier point out to
me where in his answer to the question during the leadersXXX ###XXX
debate when he said, ZZZ### ZZZWe will keep
electricity prices at or around the rate of inflation'', it was
specified that it was for one year and not the four-year term, about which the
Premier was asked?

The commitment was for the year. I did not say that in the debate, but at no
stage did I make that commitment over a four-year period. We were dealing with
the coming electricity price increase; that was the issue raised, that is what
I answered and that was our position.
