CRIMINALS — VISA
SUSPENSIONS — WA LABOR
733. Mr P.A. KATSAMBANIS to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
Premier, stick to Western Australia, stick to what is happening with WA Labor.
Several members interjected.
Mr J.N. Carey : Guilty!
Mr P.A. KATSAMBANIS : Really?
The SPEAKER : That is not a supplementary.
Mr P.A. KATSAMBANIS : It was a
preamble.
The SPEAKER : No, that is
preamble, just ask a straight question. Before you go on, I call the Treasurer
to order for the first time.
Mr B.S. Wyatt : It wasn't
me.
The SPEAKER : Who was it?
Mr P.A. KATSAMBANIS : It was
not the Treasurer; it was the member for Perth.
The SPEAKER : I call the
member for Perth. They have similar voices!
Mr P.A. KATSAMBANIS : Even I might
dispute that call.
Premier, why is WA Labor so opposed
to the Morrison Liberal government being tough on bikies, paedophiles and
organised crime gangs?
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Members!

We are very tough on those issues
ourselves, and we quite regularly support the deportation of those people when
they are released from prison. The member will find, if he searches the Government
Gazette , that there are regular orders made to that effect. As I said
before—I am reluctant to raise it, but the member keeps asking these
questions—I would not ask these questions if I were the member.
Honestly, someone who he allowed to stay in this country against the advice of
the department then went and murdered two people.
Mr P.A. Katsambanis interjected.
The SPEAKER : Member for
Hillarys.
Mr M. McGOWAN : If I were you,
I do not think 10 years ago is ancient history. Personally, I would not be
raising it.
Mr P.A. Katsambanis interjected.
The SPEAKER : Member for
Hillarys, I warned you three times. I call you to order for the first time.
