For the first time in eight years, the Minister has visited all prisons and workcamps listed. In fact, all prisons and work camps have been visited many times. For example, Banksia Hill Detention Centre has been visited more than six times. The Minister has visited both metro and regional Adult Community Corrections and Youth Justice Services offices and will continue to visit Community Corrections and Youth Justice services and looks forward to meeting the hardworking and dedicated staff.
