COLMAX GLASS PROCESSING FACILITY
1432. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
minister representing the Minister for Environment:
(1) When did
the Colmax Glass's recycling plant commence operating and when did it
go into receivership?
(2) Is the plant currently operational?
(3) If yes to
(2), when did it recommence operations; who is the new owner; do its operations
consist of anything other than glass recycling; and how much glass has it
recycled since recommencing operations?
(4) If no to (2), what has happened to Colmax's
assets?

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) Colmax
commenced processing glass through the Kewdale plant in January 2011. On 18 September
2013, the Victorian Supreme Court ordered for Colmax to be wound up and
liquidators to be appointed.
(2) No.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) Plant and equipment is reported as liquidated—Ferrier
Hodgson, 29 July 2015.
