(1) Can the Minister advise what development plans the Government has for Lot 6 Talbot Road, Stratton, and when it is envisaged that any development of the lot would commence? (2) Is the Minister aware that the Stratton and Jane Brook Community Associations expressed their concerns about the presence of endangered Carnaby Cockatoos on Lot 6 Talbot Road, Stratton in a 2010 submission to Council, with regard to the proposed modifications to ODP 26 Stratton, and requested that an Environmental Impact Report be undertaken before any development starts? (3) As of yet, has the community’s request for an Environmental Impact Report taken place on Lot 6 Talbot Road, Stratton: (a) if so, which State or Federal department carried out the report; (b) if so, when did this report take place; (c) if so, what was the result, and is the Minister prepared to table the report; and (d) if not, why not? (4) If an Environmental Impact Report has taken place, will it affected the future development plan for Lot 6 Talbot Road, Stratton, and if so, how will it affect the current development plan of the lot?

(1) The intention is to partially develop the land for housing taking into consideration the protection of environmental values. Development is likely to commence in 2015-16, subject to obtaining planning and environmental approvals.

(b) The referral report was submitted to the Commonwealth Department of the Environment on 27 August 2013.
