Health—Elective surgeries
71. Ms Libby Mettam to
the Minister for Health:
I have a
supplementary question.
Tara has been waiting since January. Has the minister
offered to meet with her and her family to hear firsthand the impact of this
delay, given it is over the clinically recommended time and she has failed to
act?

AnswerView source ↗

I have already advised the member that I understand the
surgery has been rescheduled in the near future. I have met with a number of
people who have had experiences in the health system, and I will continue to do
that and continue to listen to the people who use our system and the people who
work within it to ensure that people are getting the outcomes they need.
