(iv) It should be noted that regional intra-town services use the same zonal structure and fares as Transperth. However, due to the smaller size of the country towns when compared to Perth, there are only two zones in Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Port Hedland. All other regional intra-town services operate within one zone which include Broome, Carnarvon, Collie, Esperance, Karratha, Kununurra, Manjimup and Narrogin.
The SmartRider system is used in the larger towns of Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough Geraldton and Kalgoorlie. The other smaller towns still use the MultiRider ticketing system.
