Sorry, I just got another question given to me. Hon Amber-Jade
Sanderson's question is in Hon Sue Ellery's file.
The PRESIDENT : Is that the answer?
Hon PETER COLLIER : That is the answer to the question
from Hon Amber-Jade Sanderson, but I will give that response at the end of
question time, if you like.
This is the answer to the question that has just been asked.
You have to bear with me, Mr President. We have resolved this issue. I have the
answer on child and parent centres.
(1) An evaluation, rather than a review, of the initiative is
being conducted by Shelby Consulting.
(2) The
evaluation is in the data collection stage, which includes site visits and data
collection, stakeholder surveys and data analysis.
(3) The scope
of the evaluation is to examine and report on the extent to which the child and
parent centre initiative is meeting state government objectives, outcomes and
key components; the extent to which the outcomes and deliverables are being
met, including trend projections; the identification of key success and sustainability
factors for future application; and whether there are opportunities for
refinement and improvement of the initiative.
(4) The final report is due to be
submitted to the Department of Education at the end of January 2017.
