I refer the minister to an area of approximately 7 000 hectares near Cave Spring on the Weaber Plain near Kununurra, excised from Ivanhoe Station for the development of stage 1 of the Ord irrigation scheme. (1) Is it the view of the Government that native title has been extinguished on this land; and, if not, why not? (2) If native title has been extinguished, does the Government have any plans to develop the area for irrigated agriculture; and, if not, why not? Hon KIM CHANCE
