I refer to the media statement dated 20 June 2018 released by the Premier, Minister for Planning and the Minister for Tourism, relating to the Perth Hills and Pickering Brook Tourism Taskforce and ask can the Minister for Planning provide: (a) an update on the progress of the taskforce; (b) an outline of the role of the taskforce, its locality boundary and its terms of reference; (c) a list of the members that have been selected or identified for the taskforce; and (d) the application process for the taskforce and its reporting time frame?

(a) The taskforce has been established. A working group with State and local government representatives has also been established.
(b) The role of the taskforce is to oversee the preparation of the sustainability and tourism strategy by the working group for Pickering Brook and surrounding areas.
(c)-(d) Minister for Planning, Minister for Agriculture and Food, Minister for Tourism, Western Australian Planning Commission Chairman. The taskforce will report to the Government at the conclusion of the project, which will inform the first review of the North-East Sub-regional Planning Framework.
