For each Department and Agency under the Minister’s control, including the Ministerial office, will the Minister please advise of the following -
(1) Is there a requirement that complaints relating to workplace bullying are officially recorded?
(2) If not, why not?
(3) For each Department or Agency, how many cases of bullying in the workplace have been reported in the years -
(a) 2003-2004; and
(b) 2004-05 to date?

Official recording was seen as a deterrent to reporting because of requests for non-identification by the complainant. Systemic behaviour is managed through a global education and awareness approach, specifically targeted to locations as required. (3) Not applicable.
