parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the derailment of a grain train on the York–Quairading
line on September 2013.
(1) Has the Office of Rail Safety completed its
investigation?
(2) If yes, will the minister table
the report?
(3) If no to (2), why not?

some notice of this question.
(1) The Office of
Rail Safety issued terms of reference to WATCO WA Rail and Brookfield Rail on
25 September 2013 to conduct a joint investigation. This is the standard
practice and is done in accordance with the Rail Safety Act 2010. The
investigation report has not been completed.
(2)–(3) Not applicable.
