The Minister Replied:
(1) The Education Department does not keep statistics of the incidence of diagnosis of ADD/ADHD as it is a medical condition.
(2) Aide-time is not given for ADD/ADHD. However, students with other conditions attracting aide time may also have ADD/ADHD.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) The District Education Offices provide psychologists from the Student Services Teams who may assist in the development of behavioural intervention programs to manage students with ADD/ADHD.
