The Australian Marine Complex comprises of four precincts and two facilities. These being the Shipbuilding, Support Industry, Technology and Fabrication Precincts and the Marine Support and Common User Facilities. 2. None at present, although six companies in the marine, offshore gas/resource fabrication industries have either used the Common User Facility in the Fabrication Precinct as their preferred location or are currently preparing tender bids based on utilising the Common User Facility. If any one of these bids is successful, it is anticipated that a workforce between 50-400 (depending on specific project) will be required. 3.
